Biography

Christy Abercrombie is an educational professional with an extensive background guiding students through their academic journeys. She joined the Fulfillment Fund in Las Vegas in 2016 and held roles as a College Access Advisor and College Counselor before transitioning in 2021 to the Post-Secondary Counselor Lead for first- and second-year college students. Christy came to the Fulfillment Fund Las Vegas with eighteen years of experience in college admissions, in both private and public university systems. Her educational background includes a B.S. in interdisciplinary studies from Plymouth University (N.H.), an M.A. in medieval European history and art history from Miami University (Ohio), an M.A. in sociology from New Mexico State University (N.M.), and an Ed.D in higher education from Wilmington University (D.E.). Christy has worked part-time for several colleges, teaching sociology, history, and art history classes for the past fourteen years. A third-generation Las Vegas native, Christy left Nevada for several years before returning home in 2013.
