Angel Diaz (they/them/theirs) is a QPOC born in south Los Angeles, California. They obtained their bachelor's degree in sociology and a minor in counseling at California State University, Los Angeles. They first arrived in Vegas in 2018, left months before covid and ultimately returned in the Fall of 2022. Needless to say Angel has created a home here and over the last 5 years continued their passion towards helping students achieve academic success.They have over 6 years of Higher Education experience in student services, admissions, and advising. Angel joined the College of Sciences as an Academic Advisor as of December 2023, motivated in helping UNLV’s STEM majors pursue their future careers.
