The Nevada Law Journal published Frank A. Fritz III's (Law) Symposium Introduction: Challenge and Hope, 24 Nev. L.J. 687, in the spring symposium issue: Avoiding Disaster—Understanding, Mitigating, and Adapting to the Global Climate Crisis. Eve Hanan (Law) presented her paper, Acting Guilty: Emotions as Proof in Pregnancy Crimes, at the Law and Society Association conference in Denver on June 6. The paper analyzes the legal and social context of a woman's manslaughter conviction for her miscarriage, even in the absence of any proof of causation.
