PEBP and NSHE Open Enrollment Reminders

The open enrollment period is in full swing! The time frame to make changes is May 1 - May 31. Changes become effective July 1.

Visit the UNLV's Open Enrollment website for more information about plans, timelines, training, and information sessions!

PEBP Open Enrollment should be completed by logging into the e-PEBP portal. PEBP handles:

  • Group Health Insurance (Consumer Driven High Deductible Plan, Low Deductible, HMO)
  • Health Savings Account and Health Reimbursement Account
  • VSP Vision
  • LegalEase
  • The Standard - term life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability
  • Other voluntary products (some open year-round for enrollment or changes)

NSHE Open Enrollment should be completed through Workday. NSHE handles:

  • ASIFlex Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Metlife Legal Plan

The event appears in your Workday inbox throughout May.  If submitted, you still have the option to edit your Open Enrollment selection through May 31 by going to your Workday Menu, clicking on the Benefits & Pay application, and clicking Edit. 

Open Enrollment Tips

  • Even if you are not planning on making any changes to your benefits, we strongly recommend reviewing all your benefit elections to ensure you have selected the best options for yourself and your family.

  • The benefits teams are still offering Information sessions and Drop-in sessions. Visit the UNLV's Open Enrollment web page for upcoming events.
