Your gift to the Women’s Research Institute of Nevada makes our key initiatives possible. You support promising students and research fellows as they develop their scholarly portfolios and work in the community to improve the lives of women. Your gift creates leaders, develops researchers and enables programming that supports women on campus and in the community. For example,
- $3,000 puts a student leader through the National Education for Women’s (NEW) Leadership Nevada program. With NEW Leadership & civic engagement skills set, these graduates are ready to take on more community projects. Historically we've produced active leaders in business, gaming, science, health, politics, non-profit work, and the arts.
- $100,000 funds the Status of Women in Nevada Report. This research informs legislatures, corporations and community organizations to serve women through research-based policies and programs.
