Five Things to Know About Returning to Campus
When we come back to UNLV during the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ll have to adopt new behaviors to keep each other safe. Here are five things you should know:
1 - Signs. Look for signs posted throughout campus and follow their instructions carefully.
2 - Masks. Masks are required for everyone on campus in outdoor and indoor public spaces.
3 - Social Distancing. Masks are not a substitute for social distancing. It takes both to stop the spread. Public spaces have been altered to help maintain social distancing.
4 - Social interaction. At this time, staying apart is the best way to show you care. Greet friends and colleagues with a wave instead of a hug or handshake. Arrange virtual meetings or study groups. Avoid crowded spaces.
5 - Mindset. We are all navigating these guidelines for the first time, so confusion and conflicts may arise.
