Infrastructure

OSP Metrics

  • Obtain Contracts and Grants software that integrates with Workday, is user-friendly, and requires reasonable staff time for efficient and accurate grant and contract management. 
    • Establish newly awarded contract and grant budgets and accounts within 5 days of receipt of notice of award.
    • Manage budget change requests and other modification requests within 4 days of request for established awards.
    • Manage final award close-out and final reports within 90-120 days of the end date of the award.

IRB Metrics

  • Follow practices as aligned with AAHRP accreditation.
  • Programs for Exempt, Expedited, and Student Reviews established with median review time of 15 calendar days or less.
  • Full Committee Reviews have median length of review of 30 calendar days.

Purchasing Metrics

  • All newly purchased laboratory and research equipment has a minimum of a three year service agreement purchased at the time of acquisition.
  • Proposal for VPRED to have purchasing approval authority up to a specific cap approved by Chief Financial Officer.
