Leadership and Civic Engagement Minor

The leadership and civic engagement minor is an academic program available to undergraduate students who are interested in developing their skills as a leader in their field of study or as a student leader within the university community. We offer eight 3-credit courses designed to provide additional educational opportunities, which supplement degree programs and support the growth of civically engaged leaders needed in the global community.

All students and community members are welcome to enroll in the 200 level classes without pursuing the minor. This minor is an initiative of Student Affairs including program development, instruction and administration.  The academic home for LCE is the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs.

The LCE minor can benefit any major of study by heightening awareness and developing leadership skills. Add a minor with major impact. Join the LCE minor today.

All LCE Minor classes are held in the Center for Social Justice.

The LCE Minor requires 18 of the offered 24 credits, including three required courses and three elective courses. Our classes are listed on this page.
