In fall 2022, the UNLV School of Public Health received $1.5 million from the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) in the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services to fund students through scholarships that cover tuition and fees.

The goal of the program is to empower individuals at all levels to pursue training and careers in public health, from undergraduates to doctoral students and those enrolled in certificate programs. This program will not only support research projects that address social determinants of health and disparities, but it will also support undergraduate students looking to continue their education through our master’s programs.

Award Details

Students may receive various awards on a scale of approximately $500, $1,000 and $1,500. Funding will go towards tuition and fees.
