Faculty Development at UNLV Series

Archives of events in the Research and Teaching at UNLV series are available on this site one week after each event for those who would like to reference the session or were unable to attend in person.

Designed to support a strong start to your academic career at UNLV, these sessions offer important advice in a collegial atmosphere. Topics are based on responses to a UNLV faculty survey in spring 2014 and on Tier I research universities’ faculty development programs. Each session provides:

  • Data on the state of the topic at UNLV and on national best practices
  • UNLV experts’ advice in the form of a short presentation or panel
  • Opportunity for questions, discussion, interactions with colleagues.
