Tricia Gatlin teaches primarily in the baccalaureate program in the areas of pharmacology, pathophysiology, medical surgical nursing and critical care.
Gatlin’s program of research centers on Chronic Illness, Cognitive Function and Self-Care among individuals with Type 2 Diabetes. She recently completed her PhD in Nursing at the University of Arizona, a research-intensive university that concentrates on the health and care of vulnerable populations. Upon completion of her doctoral studies, Gatlin was awarded the University of Arizona College of Nursing Mary Opal Wolanin Outstanding Dissertation Award for Excellence in Nursing with Vulnerable Populations.
Within the School of Nursing, Dr. Gatlin serves on the Faculty Affairs Council, Faculty Organization, and is a student advisor.
