Dr. Khurana, M.D., FAPA is Double Board Certified in Adult, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He did his Residency and Fellowship training from the University of Virginia ( UVA), where he served as the Chief Fellow. He is currently associated with the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, Department of Psychiatry as a Clinical Assistant Professor, and is involved in the outpatient training of Adult Psychiatry Residents and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellows. He specializes in diagnosis and treatment of lifelong psychiatric conditions that typically have an onset in childhood, like Autism, ADHD, pediatric Bipolar disorder, as well as other anxiety and mood disorders, and then to manage these complex conditions across the life span all the way into adulthood. He has extensive experience in treating Neurodevelopmental conditions like FAS, as well as trauma and stressor-related disorders. He prefers to optimize treatment using psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, Complementary Integrative Medicine, as well as holistic, lifestyle modifications in comprehensive treatment of emotional and psychiatric conditions. Outside of work, he likes to stay physically active, is an avid fan of food and football, and loves to spend time with his wife and two children.
