With more than 30 years as a local TV sports and news anchor, Ron Futrell brings his extensive experience to our students in broadcast production and sports broadcasting classes. During his career, he covered UNLV basketball throughout its glory days and numerous other sports and news. In addition to his work at Channel 8 in Las Vegas, Ron is working on using drones for journalism.
