Rogelio Arenas, MA, is a Ph.D. student in biomedical anthropology. He is interested in health disparities, transgender health issues, biopolitics, and virtual ethnography. His dissertation project focuses on online health-seeking behaviors within the transgender community, and the use of digital personhood to navigate social spaces.
