Biography

Roberta Miranda-Alfonzo is dually licensed as a clinical professional counselor and licensed alcohol and drug counselor by the state of Nevada. As a state-approved clinical supervisor, she supervises post-graduate pre-licensed counselors and offers various professional development workshops throughout the region. She received her Ph.D. in counseling from Oregon State University, where her area of research focused on corpus linguistics and the therapeutic alliance. When not teaching, supervising, or seeing clients, she enjoys traveling, live theater productions, and board game nights with family.
