Nour Benjelloun

College of Liberal Arts Senator

Nour Benjelloun is currently a Senator for the College of Liberal Arts within UNLV CSUN Student Government, serving his third term in the 52nd Senate Session. Throughout his time at UNLV, he's gotten involved through serving as the President of the UNLV Men of Color Alliance where he advocates for diversity, inclusivity, cultural programs, events, activities, and where he advocates to break down the stigmas around toxic masculinity and mental health in all men of color. Additionally, he serves as the President of the College of Liberal Arts Deans Student Advisory Council (DSAC), where he works to address salient issues that are relevant to the student experience. Aside from those positions, Nour is heavily involved in almost every aspect of campus life - he firmly believes that every student deserves to have a voice and a say in their future.

Within CSUN, Nour has served as an intern, vice-chair of two senate committees in previous terms, served as the Chair of the Senate University Initatives Committee in his last term, and now serves as the Chair of the Internal Affairs Committee where he works to maintain transparency within CSUN, not only within our bylaws and constitution, but within each branch, in order to increase morale and enthusiasm, integrate relationships between all branches, and strengthen respect, accountability, and equity among all UNLV students and CSUN officials. Lastly, he is a third-year student at UNLV pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a Concentration in Law & Justice, alongside a minor in Global Entrepreneurship. In the future, he plans to become a lawyer to advocate for as many people as possible and to help the community in any way he can.  Please reach out to Nour for any questions, comments, concerns, or ideas to make the campus and community better at, or on Instagram, @nour_benjelloun_ .
