Marcia M. Ditmyer
Associate Professor in Residence with Emeritus, and Assistant Dean for Assessment and Instruction
Marcia Ditmyer, associate professor in residence with emeritus and assistant dean of assessment and instruction, has more than 30 years as a health care professional with more than a decade in higher education.
Dr. Ditmyer’s research focus is in oral cancer, caries risk, tobacco and tobacco-related products across the lifespan, and educational research. She is well published in many different peer-review journals including Dental Hygiene and Health Education, and has presented during national and international professional meetings and conferences.
She has extensive management experience including strategic planning and budgeting; needs assessment; workforce studies; contract negotiations; developing, planning and evaluating educational programs; and accreditation guidance.
Dr. Ditmyer earned her Ph.D. from University of Toledo, her master of business administration from Central Michigan University, and her master of science from California College for Health Sciences.
