Makayla Franklin is in her second year of college and is majoring in Hospitality Management with a concentration in events. She is also minoring in Spanish. In her CSUN position, she is in charge of helping put on CSUN events for the students of UNLV to help nourish the sense of community on campus.

Additionally, Makayla serves students who live on campus through her role as Vice President/ National Communications Coordinator of the Residence Hall Association (RHA). Makayla also represents UNLV through her position as an Orientation Leader. Makayla also is a part of the Student Advisor Board for the College of Hospitality.

Her pathway into becoming a bigger and better student leader is what motivates her to advocate for an unforgettable college experience. Makayla's primary goal is to provide an equitable space for all students at UNLV to show that you too belong here in the UNLV Family.
