Kyle Higgins, Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Educational & Clinical Studies at the University of Nevada of Las Vegas. She is the past co-editor of the Journal of Special Education Technology and is the current co-editor of Intervention in School and Clinic. For 25 years, Dr. Higgins has investigated the use of technology to teach students with disabilities. She is currently co-project director of Project CONNECT, a federally funded project to train educators to work with students with autism and intellectual disabilities. She also co-directs Project GROW, a project focusing on training teachers to unwrap common cores standards. Dr. Higgins also co-directs the department 325T project.
