Kim Case-Nichols, M.B.A.
Executive Director of Space & Facilities Management
Kimberly Case-Nichols is the Director of Space Management for the UNLV School of Medicine. She is responsible for managing the physical space environment and supporting a hybrid of innovative and flexible work spaces. With over 13 years of building maintenance and facilities management, Kim has established herself as a reputable facilities leader in higher education providing a “shared services” model for managing medical, academic and research space.
Kim previously served as the Director for Student Affairs Maintenance at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and Maintenance and Workflow Resource Manager for Residential and Dining Enterprises at Stanford University. She completed the APPA Facilities Institute and holds a CEFP (Certified Educational Facilities Professional) credential. Additionally, Kim serves on the PCAPPA (Pacific Coast APPA) board as the Membership Chair. She is influential in promoting women in facilities leadership opportunities and inclusive practices to support students, staff and the community.
Kim earned her BA from Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois and MBA from Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont, California. She is an active member for Bike MS, a triathlete and participates in numerous local cycling and running charities.
