Biography

Dr. Morgan has worked with students with high incidence disabilities at the secondary level as a teacher and a facilitator. He currently works as an Assistant Professor in Special Education in the Department of Educational and Clinical Studies, where he teaches courses on the provision of access to the general education curricula for students with high incidence disabilities and multicultural perspectives in special education. His dissertation focused on teaching online social skills to students with emotional and behavioral disorders, for which he was named a President?s Fellow during his doctoral studies. His current research interests are centered around the provision of access to the general education environment for culturally and linguistically diverse students with disabilities (academic, social, and technological). Dr. Morgan is currently a co-project director on two funded projects with Dr. Kyle Higgins and Ms. Nancy Brown.
