Dr. Jason Longhurst is a board certified clinical specialist in neurologic physical therapy from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Brigham Young University. He continued his education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he obtained his doctor of physical therapy degree. Dr. Longhurst began pursuing his Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from UNLV in 2018.
Dr. Longhurst has also completed advanced training in the management of Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, cognitive dysfunctions and vestibular disorders. He has lead the development of the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health’s rehabilitation research program, and is currently conducting research in Parkinson Disease and cognitive disorders.
