Biography
Evangelos A. Yfantis, received his Ph.D. in 1978 from the University of Wyoming in Laramie. He was an Associate Professor of Computer Science at New Jersey Institute of Technology, he has also taught at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J., and Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck New Jersey. His research is in the areas of Pattern Recognition, AI, Statistics, Digital Image processing, Cryptography, and a few other areas. He was an associate editor of Artificial Intelligence tools, and in the organizing committees of numerous IEEE and ACM conferences. He has been a consultant for many companies and U.S. Government Agencies. He was the master’s thesis and Ph.D. dissertation adviser of over 100 students.
