I’m DJ Summitt, an Emmy nominated motion designer, art director, horror fan, husband, dad and owner of Summitt FilmWorks originally from North Carolina but the sun stained streets of San Diego, CA have been home for 16 years. After 7 years as Creative Director at HP I opened my own animation shop and have been part of shows for Fox, NBC, CBS, and Disney, the 2018 FIFA World Cup, political documentaries, and projects for clients of all sizes. I'm the Vice President of NATAS-PSW, the co-chair of the San Diego Premiere Pro User Group, and Vice Chair of the Vista Public Arts Council. I’ve been in motion design since before I was aware it had a name.
