Lecturer Chad Hensley, M.Ed. R.T.(R)(MR), joined the radiography program during fall of 2004 and teaches radiographic anatomy and positioning, patient care, introduction to radiologic technology, ethics and legal issues in medical imaging, and radiographic pathology. He is also the clinical coordinator for the undergraduate program.
Hensley earned his bachelor’s and master’s from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and holds membership with the Nevada Society of Radiologic Technologists and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
Hensley is a board member for the National Honors Society of Lambda Nu, co-founder of the Nevada Society of Radiologic Technologists, site visiting team chair for the Joint Review Committee on the Education of Radiologic Technologists, and a member of the conference management team for the Association of Collegiate Educators in Radiologic Technology.
Hensley received the School of Allied Health Sciences’ Distinguished Teacher of the Year award in 2011-2012, the Most Effective Radiologic Technologist Educator award by Aunt Minnie in 2015, and the Outstanding Individual Grassroots Advocacy Award by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists in 2015.
