Barbara Kane is Vice President of Industry Relations for Ecolab Inc., the world’s leading provider of cleaning, food safety and health protection products and services.

In her current role, Kane represents Ecolab cross divisionally with all trade associations in the areas of foodservice, hospitality, healthcare, government, education, and manufacturing. Previously she held the role of AVP Global Accounts, where she was responsible for leading, managing and maintaining customer relationships while maximizing Ecolab’s overall offerings. Kane has also held corporate account positions with Sara Lee Corporation, and she has over 20 years of experience in the foodservice and hospitality industry.

Kane serves on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Foodservice Administrators, the Society of Foodservice Management, and the American Dietician’s Association Foundation. She participates on a number of different committees, including chair of the Executive Development Committee with Women’s Foodservice Forum, chair of the Industry Advisory Board, American Society of Foodservice Administrators, chair of the Sales and Marketing Conference for International Food Manufacturers Association, Silent Auction Committee for Women Chef’s and Restaurateurs. She is also an active member in several other organizations, including Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education, American Healthcare Association, American Hotel & Lodging Association, Foodservice Institute of America, International Foodservice Executives Association, National Association of College and University Food Service, National Restaurant Association, and Network of Executive Women.

Kane graduated with honors and received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from University of Phoenix. She currently resides in the Chicago area.
