Ayda is a first year Political Science, Public Law major at the University of California, San Diego. She competes in Speech and Debate and is secretary of Academic Enrichment for Relocated Students at UCSD. After completing her bachelor's degree, she hopes to attend law school and become a civil litigation attorney.

Ayda is a contributing researcher and co-author to the Data Hub, a collaborative initiative between Brookings Mountain West and The Lincy Institute, which provides web-based access to timely data and information related to the Las Vegas metropolitan statistical area, the State of Nevada, the Mountain West region, and beyond.
