Surgical Skills & Simulation Lab Coordinator
Adnan Mohsin, is a true Las Vegas native, born and raised in Las Vegas. Adnan attended his entire scholastic career in Las Vegas. A graduate of UNLV with a degree in pre-professional Biology. Adnan has been the surgical skills coordinator since 2008, as well acting as the director for the surgical skills lab. Adnan has developed several curriculums since 2008 while staying up-to-date on standards of care as well as cutting edge surgical approaches. Adnan specializes in curriculum development, individualized improvement plans, as well as surgical skills research. Adnan has been faculty for several conferences including SAGES, ASMBS, with presentations at each. Adnan consistently co-investigates research projects and has published several articles in Surgical Endoscopy, as well as The Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery. Currently, Adnan provides service, including primary instruction, for General Surgery, assistant instruction for OB/GYN, Orthopaedic Surgery, and Plastic Surgery. Several fellowships utilize the surgical skills lab as well and those are Pulmonary Critical Care and Gastrointestinal fellowships. The surgical skills lab has been carefully stocked and maintained to achieve the most usage as possible while being accessible 24/7 for residents.
