Virtual Orientation Program

You'll be attending orientation through a live virtual event hosted through Webex. You'll enjoy a welcome program, hear from inspiring speakers, and learn important next steps to get you started on a successful first semester at UNLV.

Complete the WebCampus Courses

Log into WebCampus with your ACE account and select the Military & Veteran Transition Orientation course. This course is different from the Online Pre-Orientation course. You are expected to complete both the Online Pre-Orientation course and the Military & Veteran Transition Orientation course prior to your scheduled orientation date.

Join the Live Virtual Orientation Event

You'll receive an email to your personal email account two days before your scheduled orientation session. This email will include an event link and password to join the event.

Orientation is best experienced using a web browser on a desktop. You will need access to audio to participate in this presentation. Access to a webcam is preferred but not required. All participants are muted upon entry to create the best possible experience.

Instructions

1. Access the event through the emailed link and password at least 10 minutes before the start of your orientation session to allow time to connect.
2. Enter your First Name, Last Name, Email, and Password. Include the password you were emailed.
3. When prompted, follow the instructions to access the live Webex event via the Cisco Webex Meetings App or download the extension for your web browser.
4. Join the event and enjoy!

Academic Advising

Establishing a relationship with an academic advisor ensures that you meet degree requirements and accomplish your personal and educational goals. All incoming students are required to make an advising appointment and meet with an academic advisor in order to register for classes. Advising and class registration is not offered during your orientation. Contact your Advising Center to schedule an appointment.
