Freshmen from Hawaii

Incoming Freshmen from Hawaii

Incoming freshmen for the fall semester from Hawaii are invited to attend a special orientation session in Honolulu. If you are unable to attend this orientation session in Hawaii, you are welcome to attend any of the available New Student Orientation sessions taking place in Las Vegas. Registration for New Student Orientation is available through the Student Center on your MyUNLV account.

Hawaii New Student Orientation is a one-day program designed to help you make a successful transition to UNLV.  You will learn about the many resources available to help you succeed both in and out of the classroom, hear an academic presentation from UNLV staff, meet other students from Hawaii who are in your major, learn about student life and much more. The program is mandatory for all first-year students beginning in the fall semester.
