On- and Off-Campus Housing

On-Campus Housing

UNLV requires all freshmen, including international students who are coming from outside Las Vegas, to live in the residential halls for one academic year. Residence hall contracts are written for one full academic year and include a required meal plan, as well as a U.S. currency deposit and a signed contract to reserve a room on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit the housing website for more information.

Off-Campus Housing

UNLV is proud to be comprised of a very diverse student body. Many students live on campus, most notably traditional first year students who attend from outside of Clark County, Nev. For students who are married, have families, or who otherwise choose to live off campus, there are several options and considerations in creating the best experience for you during your time away from campus. Looking for a place to live, signing a lease or dealing with roommates can be a new experience for many students and we want to provide tools to make the experience an easier one. The Division of Student Affairs aims to provide information and resources to assist UNLV students moving or living off campus to have a successful transition and integration into the Las Vegas community.
