Do your students need help with final papers?
Since we are approaching the end semester, we are encouraging all faculty to advise their students to schedule their appointments as soon as possible. We would like students to keep in mind that our appointments get filled quickly during this time.
Also, please feel free to inform them that we offer a variety of services that can help them build strategies to organize their ideas, clarify their thoughts, meet their instructors’ expectations, cite their sources, and polish their writing. All of these services and resources will be open throughout study and finals week:
- In-Person or Virtual Consultations
- Our asynchronous Online Writing Lab (OWL)
- Quick Questions that can be answered by visiting CRC Room 216, emailing or sending us a chat at writingcenter@unlv.edu, or calling us at (702) 895-3908.

We offer cancellations up to one hour before appointments, so students have flexibility when they need to reschedule.
