Video Lecture Capture Now Available in WebCampus

Panopto, a lecture capture and video management tool, is now available for faculty through WebCampus.

Panopto allows you to record lectures or other video content outside of the classroom and make them available to students through courses in WebCampus. You can use Panopto to integrate a variety of sources, such as USB cameras, applications like Powerpoint, and external video content such as YouTube, to create videos. The Panopto support site provides features and information on how to get started.

In-person workshops are available on the Canvas training web page. Customized training for specific groups or departments also can be requested by contacting the IT Help Desk.

This service is just the first in video lecture capture technology options coming to UNLV. We look forward to sharing additional services and features with you over the coming semester.
