The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) is continuing work on its Maryland Parkway Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project in front of UNLV. Entranceways to the university and various parking lots on both the east and west side of Maryland Parkway will be impacted intermittently as work takes place in front of them.
Please be aware of the following three intersection closures expected to take place this week. Each will be a one-night closure from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Feb. 5 - Intersection of Cottage Grove Avenue at Maryland Parkway. A detour will be available from Cottage Grove Avenue to Claymont Street.
- Feb. 8 - Intersection of University Road at Maryland Parkway. During this closure, access to parking lot H and lot U will be available via Brussels Street and Tropicana Avenue.
- Feb. 9 - Intersection of Joe Delaney Lane at Maryland Parkway. During this closure, access to parking lot H and lot U will be available via Brussels Street and Tropicana Avenue.
