 1. Black Read-In: Celebrating Black Joy in Literature & Film 📚

Join us for a powerful celebration of Black storytelling in collaboration with the UNLV College of Education! Come read, reflect, and celebrate Black voices!

What to Expect:

  • Panel of Black librarians, faculty, and owners of Analog Dope
  • Spoken word by Aaliyah Fafanto
  • Share your favorite book excerpts and poems
  •  Lunch provided by DB's Cajun Kitchen

2. The Westside Experience: A Journey Through Black History 🚍 (* Registration Required*)

  • Feb. 20 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Join us for The Westside Experience — an immersive day exploring Black history in our community!

  • Historic Westside Bus Tour 🚍 (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
    •  Tour Guide: Claytee White
    •  Check-in: 10 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at SU 228
    •  Departs: 11 a.m. from the Student Union
