UNLV to Host National Leadership Symposium

UNLV will host of the National Leadership Symposium, a 29-year-old collaboration between the National Clearinghouse for Leadership Programs and the National Association of Campus Activities.

The National Leadership Symposium is an annual professional development space for leadership educators from academic programs as well as student affairs programming. Each year it tackles an emerging trend or conversation in the field of leadership education and development. This year's theme is "How Leadership Development Can Help Students Build Critical Hope and Take Action in Place."

UNLV will host July 8 - 11, and registration is now open. Rian Satterwhite, director of UNLV's office of service learning and leadership, is serving as 2019 co-chair and host.

Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to take advantage of this cost-effective opportunity for professional development as the symposium comes to UNLV for the first time.
