UNLV Fostering Scholars Program Launches

The UNLV Fostering Scholars program has launched. Supported by a grant from the Walter S. Johnson Foundation and housed in the office of service learning and leadership, the program is designed to support UNLV students with experience in the foster care system meet their educational, social, emotional, physical, and financial needs while earning their degrees at UNLV. The initiative is modeled after national exemplar programs and is the first of its kind in the state of Nevada.

Additional information can be found on the program's new website, by emailing fosteringscholars@unlv.edu, or by contacting Heather Richardson, Fostering Scholars Program Coordinator.
