UNLV Dental Medicine Clinics Accepting New Patients

UNLV Dental Medicine Clinics resumed routine oral health care and are welcoming new patients in all outpatient settings: predoctoral student clinics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, general dental practice residency program, and Faculty Dental Practice. We are grateful for all of our patients because the direct clinical care they receive contributes to our dental students’ and dental residents' education.

The dental clinics, which are located at the Shadow Lane Campus in the UNLV School of Dental Medicine, average nearly 70,000 patient visits each year. During the first three months of the pandemic, faculty, staff, and residents in the school’s emergency room and oral surgery, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry areas screened more than 2,200 patients with emergent, urgent, and other oral health care needs, and treated more than 1,400.

UNLV Dental Medicine Clinics are open to university faculty, staff, and students, as well as members of the community. Fees for treatment within the predoctoral outpatient clinics typically cost less when compared to private dental offices located outside the university, and multiple insurance plans are accepted.
