We are excited to present the UNLV Career Fair. This event will provide UNLV students and alumni with the opportunity to connect with numerous employers from a variety of industries.

Pre-Fair Preparation:

• Pre-register for the Career Fair

• Find out who will be there

  • Download the Career Fair Plus app.

  • Fill out your profile, research employers by using the search filters, and mark your favorites.

• Make sure your resume is ready!

  • Set up an appointment with Career Services in Handshake to review your resume

  • Attend Prepare for the Fair events:

    • Resume Review: Wednesday, March 22

    • Employer Panel & Mixer: Thursday, March 23

  • Review the UNLV Career Toolkit

• Sharpen and rehearse your elevator pitch

• Update your Handshake profile

 Fair Tips & Tricks:

• Dress for success

• Don’t be shy. Be friendly, be confident, and be prepared with something to say.

• Upload your resume to the Career Fair Plus app so you can share it digitally with employers throughout the fair.

• Make a good first and lasting impression with each recruiter. Greet the recruiter with a warm smile and strong eye contact.

• Do not overstay your welcome. Be friendly, make your pitch, and move on so others also get a chance.
