University Guidance on Internships/Experiential Learning and Volunteerism During the Pandemic

During the current COVID-19 pandemic, student safety is paramount in internships and other experiential learning opportunities, such as practicums, field work, clinical experiences, and service-learning, as well as volunteerism.

To this end, the university has provided Guidance on Internships/Experiential Learning and Volunteerism for employers, UNLV academic and administrative units, and students. Developed by a campus working group and approved by the incident management team (IMT), this guidance is general in nature and acknowledges the broad spectrum of considerations of the varied disciplines at the university. This guidance is in effect until further notice. Additional information is available from the relevant units included on the above website.
