Undergraduate Research Journal Seeks Articles, Referees

Professors are asked to alert their students to the following opportunities.

The Nevada State Undergraduate Research Journal (NSURJ) is a new peer-reviewed research journal for undergraduate students in the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE).  

The journal accepts submissions from undergraduate students who have completed research. For the fall 2014 issue, submissions will be accepted until June 30. 

NSURJ also is looking for referees to review submissions. Graduate students enrolled in a university program or qualified faculty of any university or college may apply to be a referee.  

Positions for junior editors are open in the following fields:

  • social sciences
  • business
  • computer science
  • math
  • material science / engineering  

To be considered for a junior editor position an applicant must be an NSHE undergraduate student with at least a 3.0 GPA.
