Thrifting for Animals on Campus Dec. 5

The philosophy department and Honors College will co-host a "Thrifting for Animals: A Campus Thrift Sale" event on Monday, December 5 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Valerie Pida Plaza. There will be gently-used items for sale, including clothing, mugs, picture frames, sporting goods, and books. All items are $5 or less, and all proceeds will be donated to the Poppy Foundation, a local cat rescue that provides sanctuary to cats with special medical needs. Those who would like to donate to the event can drop donations off at the philosophy department in the Central Desert Complex, Building 4.
