Staff & Faculty Training: Supporting Victim-Survivors of Sexual Violence April 9

Supporting Victim-Survivors of Sexual Violence is a training designed to help staff and faculty strengthen their ability to support students with care and confidence. This hybrid training will give practical tools and knowledge on how to respond when students disclose experiences of power-based violence. Register for either the virtual link or the in-person session.

During the training, you will:

  • Gain insight into how trauma impacts students
  • Define the components of trauma-informed care and healing-centered care
  • Practice skills for responding to disclosures

When: April 9 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Hybrid Session:

  • In-person: Health Education Room in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, located on the 1st Floor
  • Virtual: Zoom Link will be sent via email after RSVP

This training is an important opportunity for staff and faculty to build understanding, deepen their skills, and feel more prepared to support students and colleagues. Light snacks and beverages will be available.
