For September 2024, the UNLV Office of Educational Compliance and Accessibility Resources proudly recognize Stine Odegard, assistant director for Service, Leadership & Engagement, as our Rebel Accessibility Hero. 

Odegard has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to accessibility by actively participating in and retaking accessibility training sessions. Her dedication to staying updated with the latest processes, tools, and best practices is truly commendable. This proactive approach ensures that she is always equipped with the knowledge needed to foster inclusive environments. Odegard's commitment goes beyond personal growth; she has been instrumental in promoting and facilitating accessibility training for the SLL team and student staff. She has organized in-person training sessions, ensuring that everyone is well-versed in the latest accessibility standards and practices. Her efforts have significantly enhanced the accessibility awareness and capabilities of her team, making her a true champion of accessibility at our university.
