The School of Integrated Health Sciences Announces the Hiring of Lori Porter

The School of Integrated Health Sciences is thrilled to welcome Lori Porter, Ph.D., as the new director of interprofessional education and practice (IPE). A registered dietician, Porter received her doctorate in educational leadership with a focus on IPE in health education. Porter has decades of experience working in clinical settings, association management, and higher education. In her role at UNLV, housed within the School of Integrated Health Sciences, Porter will work closely with faculty, staff, and students across the five Division of Health Sciences schools to help implement more IPE opportunities as the university looks to build on its educational foundation for an Academic Health Center.
