Register for Active Assailant 8-Hour Training Sept. 19

University Police Department is pleased to offer a dynamic 8-hour, in-person Active Assailant Training designed to provide hands-on experience and practical tools to help you prepare for and respond to emergency situations.

This comprehensive training will equip participants with:

  • Critical response strategies for active threat situations
  • Interactive, scenario-based exercises that simulate real-life emergencies
  • Expert instruction from law enforcement professionals
  • Required pre- and post-assessments to earn a certificate of completion

Location: Nevada State University – RSC Ballroom Salon A,B and C

Date: Friday, Sept. 19, 2025

Time: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Please note:

  • Completion of a pre-test is required prior to attending. Participants who do not complete the pre-test will not be permitted to take part in the training.
  • Seating is limited to the remaining 23 spots, and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
