Walking Wednesdays Series

  • Every Wednesday at 7:45-8:15 a.m. & 12:15-12:45 p.m.
  • Location: Amphitheater in Front of FDH

Take a break and boost your well-being with weekly walks! Join Sharon Jalene in the morning or Sonja Rogers over lunch hour for a refreshing walk with fellow faculty and staff. No special gear needed — just comfortable shoes and a willingness to move! Come for the exercise, reduce stress and anxiety, improve heart health, and stay for the good company. See you on Wednesday!

Stress Relief/Meditation

Join Sharon Jalene for a one-hour virtual Stress Relief & Meditation session designed to help you relax, refocus, and refresh. This guided session will help reduce stress, calm your mind, and boost your well-being — all from the comfort of your own space. No experience needed — just a quiet spot and an open mind. Take a deep breath and join us!

Meditative Art

  • February 25, 2025 at 1:00-2:00 p.m.
  • Location: CHB Room C218

Join us for a “Meditative Art Demonstration” with Jackie Harris. This demonstration is based on the basic technique of neuro art. It has been found to be very calming, grounding, and meditative. Engaging in this type of art can be helpful for relaxation, connection to yourself and emotions as well as a good transition at the end of your workday. You do not have to be an artist, ANYONE can do this type of art. You do not have to bring any supplies – they will be provided.
