Question 3 Ballot Initiative Debate Oct. 16

The William S. Boyd School of Law welcomes representatives from the Yes on 3 and No on 3 campaigns on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 4 p.m. in the Thomas & Mack Moot Courtroom for a debate on the Question 3 ballot initiative.

Question 3 asks voters whether the Nevada Constitution should be amended to require the Legislature to provide for the establishment of an open, competitive retail electric energy market that prohibits the granting of monopolies and exclusive franchises for the generation of electricity. The debate will be moderated by professor Bret Birdsong and feature panelists Sam Castor of Switch and Devin Daneshforouz of the Coalition to Defeat Question 3.
