New Scholarship for LGBTQIA Empowerment and Advocacy

CSUN Student Government and Student Diversity & Social Justice are excited to announce the creation of The Consolidated Students of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (CSUN) and Student Diversity & Social Justice (SDSJ) Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA) Empowerment and Advocacy Scholarship!

This scholarship recognizes undergraduate students — regardless of gender identity and sexual orientation — who possess leadership qualities on and off campus that help transform the social climate of UNLV and the Las Vegas community to benefit, empower, and uplift lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA+) communities.

A total of 4 scholarships, $2,000 each, will be awarded to students for the upcoming academic year (2021-2022). Scholarship recipients will be awarded $1,000 in the fall semester and the remaining $1,000 in the spring semester.

Apply through the online form. Deadline: 8 a.m. March 22.
