Microsoft Office 365 Improvements Coming Dec. 27

Updates are coming to Microsoft Office 365 that’ll make it easier to use the tools. On Dec. 27, 2024, users will move to a single tenant due to Microsoft’s licensing changes. They can look forward to improved services, enhanced security, and uninterrupted access to tools they rely on.

  • Most students, faculty, and staff: They won’t be impacted by the transition. No action is needed on their part.

  • Small group of affected users: Most have received personalized messages. OneDrive users will get communications on what to expect with the change leading up to Dec. 27.

Users who didn’t receive communications and believe they’re impacted by these updates should contact our IT Help Desk. The team can answer questions and address their specific needs. For more information, visit the Microsoft Office 365 initiative page on the UNLV IT site.
